The International Association of Hotel General Managers hosts UAE Launch event

As the most popular annual travel and tourism event in the region, Dubai’s Arabian Travel Market was the ideal opportunity to invite General Managers to celebrate our launch and find out more about becoming a member. Guests gathered at the H Hotel for an evening of networking and presentations from President, Leon Larkin and CEO, John Cameron who spoke about the various benefits, including elective portable healthcare and insurance options, retirement/pension planning and the newly launched Career Management Centre (CMC). They also outlined extensive plans for the future, which will come to fruition over the coming months as membership grows, such as the Centre for Professional Development, subsidies and scholarships. We were very pleased to welcome Kees Hartzuiker from our Board of Governors at the event, who is the CEO of Roya International Dubai and the former VP Asia at Hilton International.
