Khaled Al Jamal has been appointed General Manager at The Ritz-Carlton, Abu Dhabi Grand Canal, United Arab Emirates

Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company LLC, is pleased to announce that Khaled Al Jamal has been appointed as General Manager at The Ritz-Carlton, Abu Dhabi Grand Canal effective August 2016. A veteran General Manager, Khaled’s strong International Operations background, in-depth knowledge of the Middle East with a proven track record in owner relations makes him the ideal candidate for this important hotel. Khaled joins Ritz-Carlton from the Marriott Hotel & Marriott Executive Apartments Al Jaddaf, where he has been the General Manager since the hotel’s pre-opening in 2013. Under Khaled’s leadership, the hotel was awarded “Hotel of Year in 2014” in its very first year of operation and established itself very strong in the competitive Dubai market. Khaled’s experience and journey has been truly a global one, having worked in 8 countries since starting his career, in 1986 as a Night Auditor in Jordan at the Aquamarine Hotel & Club in Aqaba. Khaled’s passion about Food & Beverage led him to his entry into the company at the Amman Marriot where he spent 3 years in varied Food and Beverage roles.
